WaveCloud is a cutting-edge granular synthesizer that provides a robust set of tools for manipulating and playing audio. Granular synthesis involves breaking down an audio sample into tiny fragments known as grains, each typically lasting a few milliseconds. These grains can be individually adjusted in terms of pitch, duration, timing, and amplitude, offering precise control over sound manipulation and composition unlike traditional synthesis methods.

WaveCloud offers a plethora of tools for experimentation, including oscillators, LFOs, filters, envelopes, a routing matrix, innovative WaveGlide and Orbit modules for grain movement, effects, MPE support, extensive waveform editing, customizable themes, MIDI CC control, aftertouch, an audio pool manager, and over 200 presets to kickstart your creative journey.

Granular synthesis is incredibly versatile, capable of producing a wide array of sounds and textures ranging from subtle atmospheres to intricate dynamics. With dozens of parameters at your disposal in WaveCloud, you can shape sound grains to create textural pads and atmospheres, time-stretched effects, glitchy and stutter effects, vocal and instrumental alterations, granular synthesis percussive sounds, experimental effects, as well as microtonal and harmonic soundscapes.

WaveCloud facilitates easy importing and exporting of audio files and presets through a drag-and-drop system. It features its own built-in Preset and Audio Managers to maintain organization. The software also includes a comprehensive zoomable audio editor with tools for cropping, fading, cutting, copying, pasting, and normalizing samples.

Enhancing the granular engine is a morphing 3-state Oscillator that supports up to 50 grains per second per note, with grain lengths up to a second. These grains can be molded using the morphing envelope generator, manipulated with LFOs, FEGs and VCFs, and subjected to various randomizations to ensure continuous evolution.

WaveCloud introduces two distinctive features for introducing movement to audio grains. Orbit mode enables sweeping patterns synced to your DAW's host tempo while WaveGlide offers a sequencer with glides and fades between locations.

Furthermore, the software is equipped with 7 built-in effects including delay, reverb, chorus, overdrive, phaser, resonator, and an 8-band EQ. The resonator provides per-note feedback control and dispersion for remarkable MPE effects.

With over 200 presets and a wide range of advanced features including morphing oscillators, grain shapes, envelope generators, visual filters, MPE support with pitch bend and aftertouch capabilities per channel — WaveCloud stands out as a multi-faceted tool for creating intricate soundscapes.
